Trekking in Greece
Our own experiences while trekking in Greece
We continue our climb, trekking between the big , tall Cedars, and in about an hour, our path brings us into a neck in the woods. Shortly, the inclination is getting normal and we are heading south for another 10 minutes until we meet Arapi’s stream in front of us, while higher , in the horizon, we can see the majestic peak of Skourta.
On the one hand, we are facing the lakes Koronia and Volvi, Vertiskos mountain and in the background Menikio mountain. On the other hand, the view is the whole town of Thessaloniki and Thermaikos gulf up to the first “leg” of Halkidiki. And across the horizon, we can see the coast of Pieria and the magnificent Olympus. This is our payback for the difficult climb.
