Do you remember the small plastic folding cup, you were using when you were kids?
So is the lantern that we found. It is folding, is battery operated and has LED technology that consumes only 1W. With dimensions of 13 cm (Height) 8.6 cm (Diameter)when it is open , 4.9 cm (Height ) and 8.6 cm (Diameter) when it is closed and with very little weight, it is ideal for use in camping as well as in the field. It can be used as a hand-held torch when it is closed and as a camping lantern, hanging or table standing, when it is open.
It has three light settings (on, dimmed, flash). It is waterproof in accordance with IP44, that means that it can work without problems in a simple rain (we did a simulation with a watering hose). Also it operates at a temperature up to -21 degrees Celsius (we tested it in the refrigerator’s freezing zone). In all the above tests, the performance was very good. And all of this, at the price of 4.95 Euros, when lanterns of the same category, have a double starting price. The small size and weight in combination with the price, is the definition of value for money. Check the photos that we took.
